Julianne S. Helms was called to God’s heaven surrounded by loved ones in her home on November 11, 2022 after a long battle with ALS.

Julianne was born in Cincinnati, Ohio to Harry (Steve) and June Stephenson. She is survived by her son Ray Helms and his wife Cathy of Troutman, NC as well as her sister Susanne Jaggers and brother Bill Stephenson of FL. She was a wonderful loving mother, sister, aunt and cousin.

Julianne dedicated herself to the service of The Lord and remained faithfully committed to God throughout her life. She loved unconditionally, serviced without expectation of reward by tirelessly aiding everyone in need. She was also extremely dedicated to her family and friends; living a life full of generosity and selflessness. Julianne will be greatly missed by all those she has touched, and will continue to live in our hearts and memories.

She was an exceedingly talented artist both professionally and personally throughout her life. It always brought her great joy to see the reactions of others from her culinary creations and hand-crafted greeting cards. Julianne’s other lifelong passion was her love of dogs and horses. She bestowed endless love and kisses upon all four-legged creatures that she encountered.

A graveside service will be held at Lone Oak Cemetery in Leesburg, FL on Friday, November 18th, 2022 at 10AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice in Julianne’s memory, as she was provided amazing care and compassion from their staff. Or a donation can be made to the ALS Association to help find a cure for the disease that Julianne fought so bravely.

I can do all things through Him who strengthens me. –Philippians 4:13.
