Dana Scott Curtiss, 61, of Leesburg, FL, passed away peacefully on November 11, 2022. Dana was born on September 1, 1961, in Weymouth, MA.
Although he was born in Massachusetts, he was raised in Florida and grew very accustomed to the Florida heat. Dana hated the cold. Dana worked as a landscaper, which was very fitting for him. He loved to be outdoors working with his hands and had quite the Greenthumb. He tended to his own vegetable garden as well as taking care of his girlfriend, Linda’s plants as well.
Dana enjoyed fishing, riding his motorcycle and playing rock n’ roll music on his guitar. He will be remembered for his great sense of humor, adventurous personality and outgoing nature. He had a kind and caring heart and loved all animals, especially his Doberman, Aila, who preceded him in death. Dana would be described as someone who marched to the beat of his own drum, he will be missed by his family and many friends that he made along the way.
Dana is survived by his girlfriend Linda of five years, four brothers: Kevin, Tim, Shawn and Todd, a daughter Nina and three grandchildren: Bryndle, Brayden, and Brentley. As well as several nieces and nephews.
