Thomas Ray Penley, 69, of Leesburg Fl passed away peacefully in Leesburg, Fl Sunday Nov. 6, 2022. He was born in Norwalk, Oh to Lucille Green and Raymond Joseph Penley and lived most of his life in Lake County. He was a Seventh-Day Adventist and a retired truck driver. He loved “hot rods”.
He was predeceased by his parents and a brother Larry Penley. He is survived by five sisters; Diane (Dale) Ricks of Forest city, Fl, Sherry (Steve) Rimes of Grand Island, Fl, Juanita (Gary) Barrow of Eustis, Fl, Karen (Kevin) McDaniel of Leesburg, Fl., and Donna (Duane) Lucroy of Arkansas. As well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation for family and friends will be held Saturday Nov. 12, 2022 at the Umatilla Chapel of Beyers Funeral Home and Crematory from 11:30 am until 1 :00 pm. Private interment in Lisbon Cemetery, Leesburg, Fl will be held at a later date.
