Leesburg woman arrested after allegedly breaking into her mother’s home

A Leesburg woman has been arrested in connection with a burglary at her mother’s home.

Sherry Ann Tisler, 46, had been trespassed from her mother’s home in Tavares after causing a disturbance.

Tisler suffers from substance abuse and mental health issues, according to an arrest report from the Tavares Police Department.

Early Tuesday morning Tisler allegedly forced open a window and entered the residence. She was ordered to leave and became enraged. She began to destroy items. She fled the scene after the police were called. She was taken into custody later that day on charges of burglary and trespassing.

Tisler was transported to the Lake County Jail where bond was set at $16,000.
