A fight which was caught on video led to a Kissimmee woman’s arrest on a charge of battery.

Rachael Ann Cordova, 35, had been a guest at a Leesburg man’s residence. When the man fell asleep she went to her car with the intention of going home, according to the Lake County sheriff’s deputy’s arrest report.

She discovered that she had locked her keys to the car in her trunk. She went back into the house and woke up the man so that he could help her open the trunk. After the man retrieved her keys, the couple began to argue. The woman threw two glass objects which broke on the floor when the man came toward her.

The man told the deputy that when he was awoken by the woman she was drunk. After he had gotten the keys out of the trunk, he went back into the house and started to hide the alcoholic beverages. This enraged Cordova who began throwing and breaking items. The man told the deputy that Cordova hit him several times. A video camera in the kitchen showed the woman throwing items and striking the man who never struck her.

Cordova was arrested Monday on a charge of domestic battery. She was taken to the Lake County Jail where bond was set at $500.
