David Allen Jueckstock

David Allen Jueckstock, 90, of Leesburg, Florida, passed away on October 13, 2021, surrounded by his loving family. David was born on March 21, 1931 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Mabel and Gustav Jueckstock. In 1954 he married his childhood sweetheart, Joann. As a young man, David was part of a Gospel Men’s traveling quartet and was known for his bass voice and trumpet playing. David was a US Army Veteran and served his country proudly during the Korean War. He enjoyed a lengthy career with General Motors Corp. David loved spending time with his family and took them on many wonderful trips. He loved cars, trains, and home remodeling. David enjoyed a happy retirement with Joann; he built his retirement home, went on cruises and enjoyed time on his beautiful Georgia home-front lake. David was known for his life-long love for his Heavenly Father; he was a quiet man who had a way of making anyone feel special and loved. He will be truly missed by everyone who knew him. David is survived by his loving wife Joann; his son Daniel Jueckstock (Donna); daughters, Debi Carlson (Dennis), Diane Kuehnlenz (Paul), and Dana Hogue (Thomas); sister Naomi Zellmer; 8 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren, and a host of many family members and friends. A Memorial in his honor will be held on Saturday October 16, 2021 at 10 AM, First Christian Church, 1701 Vine St, Leesburg, FL.
