A Leesburg man was arrested Thursday morning after Lake County Fire Rescue units were dispatched to a residence after a 911 caller reported a woman had suffered a heart attack.

When a Lake County deputy sheriff’s deputy arrived on the scene at a residence on Stuart Lane, 33-year-old Victor Lindsey was interfering with emergency personnel as they attempted to help the woman, according to an arrest report.

Lindsey would not provide any information regarding the woman. When the deputy ordered the New Jersey native to leave the emergency personnel alone, Lindsey became argumentative and refused to cooperate.

Lindsey was arrested on a charge of resisting arrest and booked at the Lake County Jail on $1,000 bond.
