A suspected drug dealer with a large wad of cash and his passenger were arrested by Lake County sheriff’s deputies.

Ray Snow, 41, of Leesburg, was driving a gray Chrysler on Thursday when he rolled through a stop sign on Montclair Road, according to an arrest report from the Lake County Sheriff’s Office. When the deputy approached Snow’s vehicle, he appeared to be extremely nervous.

“Snow was breathing heavily and his heart appeared to be beating out of his chest,” the deputy wrote in the arrest report.

The deputy detected the aroma of marijuana and there was marijuana “in plain sight” in the vehicle.

A search of the car turned up 12 plastic bags which contained a white cake-like substance determined to be cocaine.

Snow had $500 in cash in his pocket “in both small and large denomination bills,” the report noted.

He was arrested on a felony charge of possession of cocaine with intent to sell.

A passenger in the vehicle, 42-year-old Damien Jovon Harrison, was wanted on warrants charging him with tampering with a witness and violation of a pre-trial release. He was also taken into custody.
