Woman arrested after climbing through window into home

A woman was arrested after climbing through a window into a home in Leesburg.

Valarie Doris Wright, 36, climbed through the window of a home on South 12th Street while the homeowner was asleep, according to an arrest report from the Leesburg Police Department. The homeowner woke up Sunday morning and found Wright in the home. The homeowner asked Wright to leave, but she refused.

When police arrived at the home, Wright was “confrontational” and continued to refuse to leave.

She was arrested on a charge of trespassing and booked at the Lake County Jail. Bond was set at $1,000.
