As Carroll was searching for his vehicle’s documentation, he opened up the vehicle’s center console where the deputy spotted a firearm with a flashlight and laser attachment. The console also contained several small plastic baggies.

The deputy removed Carroll from the vehicle and ordered him to sit on the front bumper.

A search of the vehicle turned up 16 packages of THC gummies, 39 THC vape cartridges, 56 individually wrapped bags containing a leafy green substance that was identified as marijuana, 14 pills identified as Amphetamine Dextroamphetamine and a digital scale. There was also $2,658 in cash found in the pickup.

“Due to the totality of the circumstances, and the evidence I found, I believe Mr. Carroll to be a drug dealer,” the deputy wrote in arrest report.

Carroll was arrested on multiple drug charges as well as a charge of possession of a firearm while committing a felony. He was booked at the Lake County Jail and released after posting $48,000 bond.
