Leesburg firefighters rescue entrapped motorist from heavily damaged vehicle

Leesburg firefighters responded to a vehicle crash with an entrapped motorist early Monday morning.

The crew from Engine 64 was the first arrive. They quickly stabilized the heavily damaged vehicle and removed a door. The patient was then freed from the vehicle and transported to a local hospital by paramedics from Lake County EMS.
