Raymond Dively

Raymond Kenneth Dively of Leesburg passed away on Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at the age of 76 years.

He was born in Claysburg, Pennsylvania. Ramey, as he was affectionately known to his family and friends, worked in a brick yard as a press operator in Warren, Ohio for over 30 years. He moved to this area from Warren in 1998 after he retired. He was an avid fisherman. He also loved sports. He enjoyed drag racing in his younger years and more recently would watch the NASCAR races. He also watched boxing and was a football fan.

Ramey was preceded in death by his son, Robert Dively in 2015 and his siblings, Jesse Dively, Charles Dively, Lena Billy, Lona Brown and Mary Jane Dively. He is remembered and will be dearly missed by his daughter and son-in-law, Pamela Sue and Maurice Arens of Leesburg; former wife and friend, Nellie Sypherd; brothers, John (Thelma) Dively of Martinsburg, Pennsylvania and Richard (Mary) Dively of Claysburg, Pennsylvania; two grandchildren, Amber Truitt of Mount Vernon, Illinois and Daniel (Shannon) Belden of Girard, Ohio; five great-grandchildren, Zachary, Alex, Richard, Byron and Braxton; and several nieces and nephews.
