Irvin “Bruce” Bowen, 69, of Leesburg passed away July 18, 2020. Born in Leesburg, Florida February 14, 1951. Survived by daughter, Michelle (Jimmy) Jowers of Debary, FL, sons, Bruce (Elizabeth) of Weirsdale, FL and Michael (Tiffany) of Coleman, FL. Sisters, Suzette Gibson and Regina Brown and brother, Townsend Bowen. Grandchildren, Gaige, Modisty, Kaylee, Courtney, Landen, Seabrook, Hunter, Cheyanne, Ayden, Aron, and Kristi. Great-granddaughter, Kadalyn Grace. Predeceased by parents Seabrook and Dottie Bowen, and brother, Mike Bowen.

Bruce was a lifelong resident of Leesburg. He worked in the construction business all of his life as a finish carpenter. Many of the businesses and homes in the Leesburg area contain his beautiful workmanship. He was a great daddy to his children, was loved very much and will be greatly missed. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He enjoyed the simple things in life like fishing every chance he got, great southern food, and loved his family and friends.

Services will be held at Trinity Assembly of God, 200 Urick St., Fruitland Park on Saturday, July 25. Service will be at 11 a.m. The service will be Livestream / Trinityaogfp.org/sermon. Visitation will be 10-11a.m. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens immediately following.
