The City of Eustis has welcomed Mike Bishop as the new director of economic development.

Bishop comes to Eustis from the Tampa Bay area, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in finance from the University of South Florida and previously served as the senior vice president of the Pasco County Economic Development Council. His extensive background in commercial real estate, manufacturing, business retention and private-sector operations gives him a firsthand perspective on the opportunities and challenges local employers and entrepreneurs face.
