A Pennsylvania woman was arrested for retail theft after allegedly attempting to steal $95 worth of groceries from Walmart.

A deputy responded to a theft incident at Walmart, 550 U.S. Hwy. 27, Clermont, around 10:30 p.m. Monday, according to an arrest report from the Lake County Sheriff’s Office. Asset protection advised that 23-year-old Asma Moseley bagged unpaid items at a self-checkout register.

Surveillance footage showed she left unscanned items in her cart and covered them with bags of scanned items. She also had a large white bag with a floral pattern that stayed in her cart throughout the transaction. Asset protection stated that more stolen items were within the bag. A total of 18 grocery items worth $95.97 were recovered from Moseley, the report said.

She was arrested on charge of retail theft and booked at the Lake County South District Jail, where she was released after posting $500 bond.
