A Leesburg man was arrested for driving with a suspended license after being warned about the offense just last month.
An officer on patrol observed 39-year-old David Michael Rowan driving a black Chrysler passenger car northbound on Gateway Drive at 11:30 p.m. Sunday, according to an arrest report from the Tavares Police Department.

The vehicle then turned left to head southbound on Duncan Drive, where it improperly turned into the far-right lane without first entering the extreme left-hand lane. The officer subsequently stopped the vehicle at the intersection with Main Street, the report said.
When asked for his driver’s license, Rowan stated he did not have one. The report noted that the officer had already stopped Rowan on June 13, during which he admitted to driving without a license. He was issued a notice to appear for the offense at that time, the report said.
Rowan was arrested on charge of driving while license suspended with knowledge (third or subsequent offense) and issued a written warning for the improper turn. He was booked at the Lake County Jail and released after posting $2,500 bond.
