Deborah Ann Willis

It is with deep love and sorrow that we announce the passing of Deborah Ann Willis, a devoted mother, Nana, sister, and friend. Debbie was born on August 7, 1954, and went to be with the Lord on June 24, 2026. She passed away peacefully at her residence in Leesburg, Florida, surrounded by the love of her family.

Debbie was born in Memphis, Tennessee, to Euler Elliott “Pete” Willis and Bonnie Jean Dacus. As a young child, she moved with her family to Leesburg, Florida, where she grew up and graduated from Leesburg High School in 1972.

She dedicated more than 25 years to the banking industry, serving with Citizens National Bank, Citizens First Bank, Colonial Bank, and BB&T. Beginning her career as a teller, Deborah’s hard work, integrity, and dedication led her to become a branch manager before concluding her career as an auditor.

Her faith in God was the foundation of her life. She lived with grace, compassion, and unwavering trust in God’s plan, drawing strength and comfort from her faith through every season of life.

Debbie was a faithful member of Good News Church, where she built lasting friendships and faithfully served by leading numerous women’s Bible study groups. Her servant’s heart extended throughout the community as she generously volunteered with the Leesburg Food Bank, the Samaritan Inn, Operation Homebound, and the Women’s Prison Ministry at Lowell Correctional Institution, always seeking to encourage and care for those in need.

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents and her brother.

Debbie is lovingly remembered by her daughters, Allison Nave and her husband, Adam, and Angie Neiford and her husband, James. She was the proud and devoted Nana of Abby and Addie Nave, and Lexie and Maddy Neiford who were the greatest joy of her life.

She is also survived by her four sisters, Kathy Jankiewicz, Judy McRae, Janelle Morgan, and Angie Tennison, along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever cherish her memory.

Debbie will be remembered for her steady presence, her loving heart, and the strength, kindness, and unwavering faith she shared with everyone she met. Her legacy lives on through her family, her church, and the countless lives she touched with her compassion and generosity.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Good News Church in Leesburg, Florida.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to the Leesburg Food Bank or the Samaritan Inn in Leesburg, Florida.
