A Leesburg man was arrested for trespassing after refusing to leave a salon’s property so he could pray.
Officers responded to Salon Chioma, located at 1434 W Main St., regarding 27-year-old Jorge Javier Batista Munoz loitering on the property around 10:45 a.m. Wednesday, according to an arrest report from the Leesburg Police Department.

Upon arrival, the officers found him kneeling on the ground as if he were praying. The business owner advised that he saw Batista Munoz repeatedly leave and return to the property throughout the morning. He refused to leave when asked by the owner, the report said.
The officers then spoke to him, but he became argumentative and stated he was praying to God. He was verbally trespassed from the salon, yet he still refused to leave. The officer told him three more times to leave, but he refused to listen or answer other questions, the report said.
The native of Puerto Rico was subsequently arrested for trespassing and booked at the Lake County Jail without bond.
