A South Carolina teen was arrested for the theft of $134 in merchandise from Walmart.

A deputy responded to a retail theft at Walmart, 550 U.S. Hwy. 27, Clermont, around 8:45 p.m. Wednesday, according to an arrest report from the Lake County Sheriff’s Office. Asset protection advised that 18-year-old Katanna Aaliyah Grier bagged multiple unscanned items.

Surveillance footage showed she bypassed the scanner entirely at a self-checkout register. She did this for 22 items of groceries, plastic cutlery and clothes, all worth $134.92, the report said.

Grier was arrested on charge of retail theft and booked at the Lake County Jail. She was released after posting $500 bond.
