A pair of Palm Bay women were arrested after stealing $26 in food and clothes from Walmart.

A deputy responded to Walmart, located at 550 U.S. Hwy. 27, Clermont, regarding retail theft around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, according to an arrest report from the Lake County Sheriff’s Office. Asset protection advised that 20-year-old Nakaiya Mae Phang and 20-year-old Naari Maelynn Phang bagged unscanned items.

Surveillance footage showed the two passing the final point of sale with $26.64 in stolen goods, the report said. These included Friendly’s Strawberry Krunch ice cream cake singles, Disney Mickey and Minnie ladies’ lounge pants, and a can of Red Bull Amber Edition strawberry apricot energy drink.

The New York natives were arrested on charge of retail theft and booked at the Lake County Jail. Nakaiya’s bond was set at $2,500, while Naari’s bond was set at $500.
