A Groveland man was arrested for trafficking cocaine after a SWAT team executed a search warrant at his apartment.

On Tuesday, the Lake County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Bureau and the Groveland Police Department executed two narcotics search warrants at 745 and 747 Blue St., Groveland. The location is a single-story duplex structure, and during this investigation, detectives were able to determine that narcotics were being distributed from both apartments.

The LCSO SWAT team was used to make entry and secure both apartments. As Lake County, Clermont, Eustis, Groveland and Leesburg detectives searched both apartments, they located cocaine, crack cocaine, drug paraphernalia and one firearm.

As a result of this investigation, 39-year-old Corey Pierre Solomon was arrested and charged with trafficking in cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia from 747 Blue St. He was booked at Lake County Jail with bond set at $260,000.

At this time, additional arrests from 745 Blue St. are pending further investigation.
