A Leesburg woman and a teenager were arrested for disorderly intoxication as part of a group cleaning vomit at RaceTrac.
Officers responded to a fight in progress at RaceTrac, 20360 Obrien Rd., around 11:55 p.m. Monday, according to an arrest report from the Groveland Police Department. Upon arrival, they saw three women, including 21-year-old Alayah Dontae Whitley, in a vehicle and 19-year-old Tadajiah Camp walking out of the gas station.

The officers were able to bring Camp over to the women and had to contact EMS due to her being severely intoxicated. She was not fully compliant with law enforcement and caused a public disturbance, the report said.
The other three women were asked to step out of the vehicle at the gas pump to determine what happened. The driver, being the only sober one in the vehicle, advised that they were traveling down U.S. Hwy. 27 while Whitley vomited out the window due to the alcohol in her system. The driver pulled into the gas station to control the situation, the report said.
Once there, the group went inside to buy supplies to clean up the vomit. They had finished cleaning and were getting ready to leave when Whitley began to fall out of the vehicle. The other two women were trying to get her back into the vehicle when they started arguing, which caught an employee’s attention, the report said.
The report noted that during the entire incident, two juveniles were in the vehicle. During the investigation, the child in Whitley’s care ran around the parking lot without her paying attention. Officers had to tell her more than 10 times to pick up the child so they would not get hit by passing vehicles.
The other child stayed asleep in the vehicle for the entirety of the investigation. Someone was ultimately called to come pick up the children, the report said.
Whitley was ultimately arrested on charges of child neglect without great bodily harm and disorderly intoxication. The Michigan native was booked at the Lake County Jail and released after posting $3,000 bond.
Camp was arrested on charge of disorderly intoxication. She was booked at the jail with bond set at $500.
