A Fruitland Park man with a history of traffic offenses was arrested for driving with a license suspended for driving under the influence.
Ronald Wayne Hoskins, 48, drove a white van without functioning tag lights past an officer on County Road 488 around 1 a.m. Thursday, according to an arrest report from the Fruitland Park Police Department.

After being stopped, he handed over an Arkansas ID and explained he did not have a valid driver’s license. A check of his driving history revealed numerous suspensions, cancellations and revocations. The charges included unpaid financial obligations, fleeing to elude an officer, DUI and refusal to submit to DUI testing, the report said.
Hoskins was arrested on charge of driving while license suspended for DUI. The Tennessee native was booked at the Lake County Jail and released after posting $10,000 bond.
