
Susan Bryan Ehreke was born in Washington, D.C., a proud Army and Foreign Service brat, and grew up in Tacoma Park, Maryland; France, Germany, Greece and Scotland. She graduated from Yorktown High School in Virginia and attended Limestone College in S. Carolina and Anne Arundel Community College in Maryland.
An avid equestrian while growing up overseas, she loved horses all of her life. She worked for the U.S. government in Lanham, MD and was awarded several accolades before moving to Yukon, OK. Sue had a career spanning over 50 years in nursing and the medical field while living in Oklahoma.
She was a loyal and devoted wife to her husband, Scott, for 57yrs. and a devout Episcopalian. She loved the beach and the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia.
Susan was preceeded in death by her husband, Scott Ehreke; loving parents, Belton O’Neal and Mildred Bryan; older brother, Belton O’Neal Bryan, Jr.; niece, Kami Bryan Stafford; sister-in-law, Judith Bryan and countless other family members.
She is survived by her devoted daughters, Kimberly Hulett (Mike) of Florida; Kelly Beninghove (Jeff) of Maryland; cherished granddaughters, Soleil and Leila; brothers Richard Bryan & Michael Bryan (Karen); and sister-in-law, Pamela Ehreke Mayberry (Wade).
