An Ocoee man was arrested for grand theft after being pulled over in a stolen Porsche SUV.
A deputy on patrol spotted 20-year-old Fabiano Henrique Bessa Silvestre driving a gray Porsche SUV westbound on State Road 50 in Clermont at 11:35 p.m. Monday, according to an arrest report from the Lake County Sheriff’s Office.

A check of the vehicle’s license plate revealed it had been reported stolen out of Orange County. Due to this, the deputy stopped Bessa Silvestre at the intersection with Miss Florida Avenue. He claimed that his father had been paying a friend for the use of the vehicle, and he was allowed to drive it before the traffic stop, the report said.
Bessa Silvestre was arrested on charge of grand theft (motor vehicle) and booked at the Lake County South District Office. After a courtesy immigration hold, the native of Brazil was released on a posted $2,500 bond.
