
Oscar William Freeman Jr., a lifelong resident of Leesburg, Florida, passed away on April 21, 2026, at the age of 56. Born on May 24, 1969, in Leesburg, Oscar was a dedicated and hardworking construction laborer known for his strength and his heart that never stopped loving.
Oscar is survived by his beloved children, Kamela Davis and Eden Davis. He was the son of Oscar William Freeman and Marcile Mealor. He leaves behind a large and loving family, including his six sisters: Patricia Torrance, Linda Brissey, Carole Freeman, Donna Zimmerman, Wanda Jacobs, and Judy Kyle; and his three brothers: Steve Freeman, John Freeman, and Verlon Freeman.
Known for his enduring spirit and the joy he brought to those around him, Oscar’s family finds comfort in knowing he is finally at peace and “forever free.”
