The Lake County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating a shooting in the area of 1904 Griffin Road in Leesburg.
A person of interest has been identified as a 43-year-old white male, Matthew Lee Pasco. He has brown hair and brown eyes and is 5’11” and approximately 150 lbs., with a prominent scar on the right side of his face. Pasco fled the area on foot and was last known to be wearing a navy-blue T-shirt; no further clothing description is known at this time.
Pasco is homeless and frequents the Leesburg area. He is believed to still be armed with a handgun. Any person coming in contact, do not approach and notify law enforcement immediately.

His prior arrests include trespassing in Dec. 2022, theft from Walmart in Nov. 2023 and trespassing in an abandoned house in March 2023.
