A Leesburg man was arrested for stalking after threatening to stab a woman he met last year at a T-Mobile store.
A deputy responded to the area of Lake Square Mall, located at 10401 U.S. Hwy. 441, Leesburg, regarding 34-year-old Andrew Vincent Frank threatening a woman’s life over text around 7:45 a.m. Saturday, according to an arrest report from the Lake County Sheriff’s Office.

The victim advised that she had received ongoing calls and texts from Frank, who had a prior history of stalking her. On that day, he sent multiple messages indicating he intended to kill her. The messages mentioned coming to her place of work to murder her by stabbing her to death, the report said.
She feared for her life due to the escalation of the threats. She explained that he had previously contacted her from multiple phone numbers, showed up at her workplace and caused her to change job locations out of fear for her safety, the report said.
The victim detailed multiple calls and messages from Frank, including threats such as, “I’ll beat the brakes off your man,” and instructions to put her “head down,” along with continued harassment that caused her to fear for her life, the report said.
This started in 2025, when she first met Frank while working at a T-Mobile store. There was a previous report on file regarding this behavior dated April 5, 2026. She applied for an injunction of protection on April 9, which had been granted by a judge but not yet served, the report said.
The injunction affidavit documented an ongoing pattern of harassment, including 20 calls from multiple phone numbers, numerous threats and derogatory messages. Frank continued contacting the victim from blocked and unknown numbers, warning her to respond before he came to see her “in store.” This behavior had escalated to the point that she moved her residence and employment, the report said.
The deputy subsequently responded to Frank’s home on Laver Street in Leesburg. He looked nervous, asked if he was going to jail and requested that his father bail him out before questioning even started, the report said.
He then advised that he knew the victim from a prior interaction at a T-Mobile store about a year ago. He denied having any ongoing relationship with her or sending the threatening messages. When asked about the contents of the messages, he stated they were not sent by him, and he does not communicate with the victim. He refused to turn over his phone, the report said.
The report noted Frank was flagged in the LCSO’s records as having a history of mental health issues.
Franks was arrested on charge of aggravated stalking and written threats to kill or do bodily injury. He was also served the ex parte injunction at that time. The Connecticut native was booked at the Lake County Jail with bond set at $50,000.
He was also arrested in July 2025 after hitting two vehicles at a red light with fentanyl on his person.
