Theresa Marie Griswold, 67, passed away in Leesburg, Florida on April 2, 2026.
She was born in Canandaigua, New York on March, 14 1959 to James and Bonnie. Theresa was a caring, compassionate woman who truly dedicated her life to helping others. Theresa spent much of her time giving back, volunteering with the Salvation Army and local food banks in her community. She also served as a counselor for a crisis center, where she made a lasting impact on so many lives.
She had a genuine love for people and was always willing to lend a hand or a listening ear to anyone in need. In her quieter moments, she enjoyed reading and found comfort and peace in a good book.
She is survived by her son, Toby Griswold of Lake Panasoffkee; her mother, Bonnie Griswold of Lake Panasoffkee; her sisters, Patricia (Jim) Luckenbach of New York and Gloria Griswold, Tom of New York, Susan Griswold of Rochester, New York; Brother, Tim Griswold of Lake Panasoffkee as well as many grand nieces and nephews, also many beloved friends throughout Florida.
She was preceded in death by her father, James Griswold.
Theresa’s kindness, selflessness, and love for others will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
