Gloria Hartman, 88 moved to Heaven on April 8, 2026. She left this planet peacefully and ran into the father’s waiting arms. Gloria was born on May 3, 1937, in Kansas City, MO, to Juanita and Earl Carter. She lived in the Missouri area through her childhood and young adult life. She worked as an Executive Secretary off and on through her early life.

Gloria met her husband on a blind date on June 9, 1958. They were engaged a few weeks later and married on October 9, 1959. Eleven months later, their son, was born, and eighteen months later their daughter was born. In 1967 Gloria and her husband were led into the ministry and lived in Canada and Colorado, attending school to be Pastors, and then being Pastors of small mountain churches, finally having a church in North Kansas City, Missouri.

Being a Pastor’s wife, and a teacher was what Gloria did most of her life. She ran Bible studies, woman’s groups and had a radio program called, “Girl Talk”. After her husband went to Heaven in 1999, Gloria continued to teach, both in churches and finally on Facebook, which she fondly called “Mini Teachings”. Gloria authored six books. She was passionate about God and His teachings and wanted to share all that she had learned with as many people as possible.

Gloria is survived by her son, Mark W. Hartman and wife Dee; her daughter, Deborah Hartman Todd and son-in-law William Todd; brother Stewart Carter; grandchildren James, Isaac, Anne, Laura, Chris Stephanie, and two great grandchildren, Millie and Abby, as well as several nieces and nephews and cousins.

But also included are all of the people who were touched by Gloria’s life example and teachings over the span of the 88 years she was on Earth.

She was loved and will be missed by so many.

A memorial will be on announced at a later date at Mid-Florida Lakes Community Center at 199 Forest Dr, Leesburg, FL 34788.
