Eleanor L. Arnold, age 93, passed away on March 11, 2026 after a short illness.
She was born on April 16, 1932 in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Albert and Louise Willis. Eleanor lived all her adult life in Florida. She loved her family, reading, traveling the country and gardening/garden club. Her love of family also included baking many cookies, treats and birthday cakes galore! She retired from the Dade County Public School System and to Fruitland Park, FL with her husband.
In addition to her parents and siblings, Eleanor was proceeded in death by her former spouse (Sam Price) and by her husband Harvey Arnold in 2001, her granddaughter Karissa Price in 2012, and her son-in-law Gary Mullins in 2024.
Survivors include daughter Mary Ann Mullins of Fruitland Park, FL; son Steven “Dan” Price (Karen) of Tampa, FL; step-daughter Eileen Arnold-Arons (Craig Hohensee) of Minneapolis, MN; grandchildren Merlin Underwood (Tina), Kaleigh Rodriguez (Anthony), Kiya Becket (David), Brandon Arnold-Arons, Kara Burg, Neil Booth (Kate), many beloved great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
A private family Celebration of Life will be held pending family travels, at the gravesite and at the butterfly garden “Heritage Park” Lady Lake, FL.
