A Fruitland Park woman and her male companion were arrested when she admitted to concealing drugs in her vaginal area after he had been arrested.
An officer observed 27-year-old Victoria Rachelle Pike and 38-year-old Timotheus Gersom Reed in a pickup truck headed north on County Road 468 at 11:40 p.m. Wednesday, according to an arrest report from the Fruitland Park Police Department. The truck’s tag lights were not working, leading to a traffic stop in the driveway of 2248 South Ave.

Reed immediately got out of the driver’s side and was told to get back in the vehicle multiple times. He ignored these commands to walk toward the officer instead. The officer put his hand on Reed’s chest and told him to sit back down. He also noticed another man sitting in the front passenger seat at this time while Pike sat in the back, the report said.
Due to this, the officer told dispatch that Reed was not complying and drew his taser. He pointed it at Reed’s chest as a K-9 unit arrived on scene. They were able to get him on the ground and handcuff him, after which the other occupants did as they were told and stepped out of the vehicle, the report said.
Reed denied consent for the officers to search the vehicle, but a positive alert from the K-9 gave them probable cause to check for narcotics. In the center console cup holder was a plastic bag with 7 grams of fentanyl. There were also small Ziplock baggies on the driver’s seat and floorboard as well as a blue and white smoking device in the center console, the report said.
Reed later advised that he did not know the fentanyl was in there, but he knew what was in the cup holder directly next to the bag of fentanyl. A subsequent check of his driving history showed he had 14 suspensions for failures to pay court financial obligations, failures to pay traffic fines, habitual traffic violator and a controlled substance charge, the report said.
Behind the driver’s seat was a small clear container with folded copper wire inside. This was found within reach of Pike. More bundled up wire was discovered inside a wallet from a brown purse on the back passenger side floorboard, the report said.
Pike admitted that copper wire belonged to her, prompting the officers to ask if she had anything inside her. She stopped talking and looked increasingly more nervous. She then stated she put a crack cocaine pipe and a baggie with 0.3 grams of “dope,” or cocaine, inside her vaginal area.
Pike was arrested on charges of tampering with evidence, possession of crack-cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was transported to Lake County Jail with bond set at $6,000.
She was also one of four people busted during a drug deal in the Walgreens parking lot in January. Other arrests include in July 2023 for violating her probation with drugs and in Sept. 2021 when she “forgot” about methamphetamine in her car.
Reed was arrested on charges of trafficking in fentanyl, driving while license suspended, possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting without violence. He was taken to jail to be held without bond.
