City of Leesburg offices will close Friday, July 4, in observance of the Independence Day holiday.
Closings include City Hall, the Municipal Services Center, Public Works, Recreational Complex and the Leesburg Public Library.
There will be no garbage or yard waste collection on Friday, July 4. Residential and hand commercial solid waste regularly scheduled for pick up on Fridays will be picked up on Tuesday, July 8. There will be no change to dumpster service for the holiday.
The Leesburg Public Library will reopen with regular hours on Saturday, July 5. All other city facilities will resume normal operations on Monday, July 7.
The H.O. Dabney Aquatic Center and Rogers Park Splash Pad will both be open on July 4. The Aquatic Center will be open with extended hours from 11:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and the Splash Pad will follow the regular schedule of 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Additional information on these amenities including locations and admission fees can be found on the Recreation Department website at www.LeesburgFlorida.gov/recreation.
