Harriet Sandra Charnow entered eternal rest on Wednesday, May 28th, 2025.
Harriet was born to her mother, Bessie Danvetz, in Brooklyn, NY. She would call Monticello, NY for most of her life until retiring to Tavares, FL in 2017, although, she would remain a New Yorker at heart.
She enjoyed traveling and was well known for her love of the game “Mahjong”.
Harriet is preceded in death by her husband of 19 years, Gary Charnow; her son, Kenneth Hirsch; and sister, Marsha Brown.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Cindy Mathis; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
