Ann T. Young, 88, of Clermont, FL, and formerly of Harrisburg, PA, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, May 27, 2025.
Born in Pittston, PA, Ann was the daughter of the late James and Helen (Shannon) Dixon. She was a devoted member of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church in Harrisburg and gave generously of her time as a long-time volunteer with Downtown Daily Bread. Ann loved playing bridge and reading. She cherished the friendships she made through the years.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles T. “Chuck” Young, as well as two brothers and five sisters.
Ann is survived by her two sons: Charles T. Young, Jr. and his wife, Rachael, of Harrisburg, and Stephen J. Young and his wife, Khristina, of Clermont, FL; three adored grandchildren: Annabelle Young, Gabriel Young, and Parker Young.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 11, 2024 at the Jesse H. Geigle Funeral Home, 2100 Linglestown Road, Harrisburg, PA 17110. Burial will follow at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA.
A viewing will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
