George S. Bradbury of Leesburg, Florida, passed away peacefully on May 6, 2025.
He was the beloved husband of Carolyn (Gustray) for 44 wonderful years. George was a devoted father to Karen Calderone (Tony), Dana Wilson (Joseph), and George Bradbury Jr., and a loving stepfather to Wayne Johnson (Dee), Chris Berenotto (Pete), and Caryn Poloske (Mike). He cherished his role as grandfather to 17 grandchildren and great-grandfather to 10.
George was predeceased by his first wife, Nancy (Cinkowski), and his son, Paul J. Bradbury.
Born in Camden, New Jersey, to James and Anna Bradbury, George served honorably in the U.S. Coast Guard following high school. He later attended Drexel University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering. George built a successful career at General Electric before transitioning into real estate and hospitality, operating a bed and breakfast in Ocean City, New Jersey.
In 2003, he and Carolyn relocated to Leesburg, Florida, where George embraced the warm weather and spent his time enjoying boating and playing shuffleboard.
George will be remembered for his warmth, wisdom, and generosity. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
