Culver’s restaurant will be adding new location near Leesburg airport

A new Culver’s restaurant is among businesses coming to a new development near the Leesburg International Airport.

The Culver’s restaurant chain, headquartered in Wisconsin, is expanding rapidly with numerous restaurants planned across 12 states.

One of those Culver’s restaurant is coming to Leesburg. Specifically, it will at the Silver Lake Commons development on U.S. Hwy. 441 near the airport.

Others Culver’s restaurants are planned in Florida at Fort Meade, Fort Myers, Jacksonville, and Ruskin. There is a Culver’s in The Villages and one at Trailwinds Village in Wildwood.

The family friendly Culver’s restaurants are famed for their frozen custard and ButterBurgers. The chain was founded in 1984.

Other businesses coming to the Silver Lake Commons development include a Zaxby’s restaurant and a Circle K gas station and convenience store.
