Marcus Eugene Smith was born on November 1, 1965 and passed away on May 24,2025.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Baswell and Cornelia Smith, Brother Sterling W. Smith, and sisters Wanda Smith Flavell (Art) and Frances Smith Peel.
He is survived by his sister Patricia Reeves (Ernest) and Brothers Earl S. Smith (Darlene) and Stewart E. Smith (RaeLynn) as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
Marcus graduated from Groveland High School in 1984. He was a long-time resident of Lake County, Florida. At the time of his death, he was a resident of Bayview Center of Eustis, where he was highly regarded both by residents and staff of the facility. He will be interred with a brief graveside service at the Tavares Cemetery, 1256 Dead River Road, Tavares, Fl. (Date and time to be later decided).
