Mr. Gray, age 91, of Leesburg, FL, passed away at 4:45 PM on May 11, 2025. He was born in Wingo, KY on November 17, 1933 to Author “Pete” and Gertrude Mullins Gray.
Mr. Gray was a veteran of the U.S. Army and retired as a business owner in the automobile industry. He was of the Baptist faith and he was a proud Gator Dad and devoted fan of all University of Florida sports.
Those left to cherish the memory of Author “Ott” Gray are his wife Dolores of Leesburg; daughter Gina Barnhill (Neil); grandsons Quinton Gray Barnhill and Jesse Clayton Barnhill of Minneola, FL; and his brother Jerry Gray (Dianne) of Mayfield, KY. Mr. Gray was preceded in death by his brothers Jesse Levi Gray and Kenneth Latta Gray.
The immediate family will host private services including a graveside Military honor ceremony where he will be buried at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery, date and time tbd.
