John Joseph Sokolowski of 3819 St Emma Ct, Leesburg FL 34748, died May 10, 2025, in faith.
He passed at home surrounded by his wife Ann Marie, his daughter Lauri Fink, his son-in-law Mitchel Fink and his son John J Sokolowski Jr.
John was born on October 16, 1938, in New Britain, CT. John’s parents were Stanley and Anna Sokolowski.
His brothers were Thomas, Stanley Jr., Robert and sister Mary-Anne. John also had five grandchildren, Ashley Hecker, John Sokolowski III, Paul Vinci, Daniel Sokolowski and Luke Vinci and 12 great-grandchildren. John and Ann Marie were married on November 5, 1960 and enjoyed their covenant of marriage for 64 years.
John enjoyed a very adventurous life as a child and had many wonderful stories tell. John held many positions as an employee and business owner. John also learned at a young age from a mentor how to build houses and he built many of them throughout his life. John was Roman Catholic for most of his life but became a Christian and was baptized at age 60 after reading through the Scriptures repeatedly from cover to cover.
