Calvin C. Powers, age 90, of Leesburg, FL passed away on May 7, 2025.
He was born in Standish, NY on October 14, 1934. Cal served in the United States Marine Corps in Korea from 1953-1955. He worked for Verizon for 33 years. He married the love of his life Mary Jo. Cal enjoyed fishing and watching the New York Yankees. He was a member of the Elks, Eagles, and Shriners Hospital.
Cal was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and the mother of his 10 children Anne F. Powers.
He is survived by his wife Mary Jo; children: Patty (Jack), Debbie (Micky), Jerry (Laura), Michael, Jeff (Kathy), Sue (Jeff), Andy (Deanna), Judy, Ken, Kathy, and stepchildren Matthew Gordon and Melissa Gordon.
