Sandra Perez

With heavy hearts and deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Sandra Perez, age 65, a beloved wife, devoted mother, cherished grandmother, and compassionate soul who left this world on May 2, 2025, surrounded by the love she so freely gave to others. Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Sandra’s life was a radiant testimony of grace, strength, and unwavering faith.

Sandra was the daughter of the late Nestor and Ada Ortiz. She is now reunited with them in eternal peace. A proud alumna and Doctor of the University of Puerto Rico, Medical Sciences, Sandra pursued a distinguished career in pharmacy. Her intelligence and dedication were only surpassed by the warmth she brought to every room, every conversation, and every heart she touched.

For 50 beautiful years, Sandra was the loving wife of Perry Perez, her partner in life and love. Together, they raised two children—Christopher Perez, married to Angelica Perez, and Alexandra Roman, married to Joseph Roman. Her pride and joy extended to her precious grandchildren: Jeremiah, Selena, and Ozias, who knew her as their ever-present source of laughter, guidance, and unconditional love.

Sandra lived a life of selflessness. She lovingly cared for her parents for 17 years and later, extended that same tender devotion to her in-laws. Her legacy is one of service and compassion—expressed through her work, her family, and her deep commitment to her Christian faith in the Catholic tradition. She taught Sunday school and gave her time freely to the church, living as a true example of Christ’s love.

A woman of elegance and style, Sandra adored travel, Broadway performances, music, and fashion. Her artistic spirit shone in everything she touched, and her joy for life was infectious—especially when she was shopping, one of her favorite pastimes. But above all, she treasured time with her family, who always came first in her heart.

To know Sandra was to know kindness, grace, and a glimpse of heaven on earth. She was an angel in every sense—and now, she watches over us from above.

A celebration of Sandra’s life will be held on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at 1:00 p.m., at Purcell Chapel, 114 West Noel Avenue, Bushnell, Florida 33413.
A public viewing will take place from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., followed by the funeral service.

Sandra’s presence in our lives was a divine gift. Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort knowing that heaven has gained one of its brightest angels.
