It is with a heavy heart and great sorrow that we confirm our beloved mother, Marion Louise Dennen, passed away on April 28, 2025, surrounded by family at her bedside.

Marion Louise Dennen began life in Attleboro, Massachusetts on May 28, 1941, to Parents, Fred and Ellen Smith.

Marion’s career began in the school system, working as a cafeteria worker, where she brightened the lives of countless students. Later, after moving to Florida, Marion worked as a bank teller, always with a friendly smile and a warm heart.

Outside of work, she had a love for life’s simple joys. She enjoyed playing cards with family and friends and could often be found at the casino trying her luck! But above all, Marion’s greatest joy and purpose in life was her family. She cherished her loved ones, offering them unwavering support, laughter, and love only a mother could provide.

She was preceded in death by her parents Ellen and Fred Smith, her husband of 57 years Robert Dennen, her infant son David, grandson Robert Dennen III, her brother Bill Smith, her sister Patricia Betts, and her brother Bob Smith.

She is survived by her three children Robert Dennen Jr. and spouse Rhonda, Denise Robbins and spouse Bill, Trish Paulk and spouse Michael. As well as, grandchildren Krystina and Scott, Melissa and Chris, David and Jess, Kayla and Taylor, Emma and great grandchildren Brylee, Korbin, Ada and Hallee.

Marion will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, generosity, and a love for family that will continue to inspire her family and those who had the privilege of knowing her.

Let’s celebrate Marion’s life at her memorial service this May 17, 2025, Saturday, at 11:00 a.m. at Beyers Funeral Home in Leesburg, FL. Friends and family are welcome. Luncheon to follow at Fruitland Park Gardenia Center.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donating to the dementia society of America if so desired.
