Billy Joe Evans, born 2/28/44, of Groveland FL passed peacefully in his home surrounded by family and loved ones 4/16/25.
He has been many things in his life, a son, a father, a grandfather, a great grandfather, and a friend. He has also been a hero for our country and received the bronze star. He was a true patriot. He was an avid fisherman and servant of the living god.
“He is fishing the big lake now in Glory”
He will be missed- until we meet again in the Kingdom of God
He is survived by his daughter Linda Young, son Thomas Evans,” bonus” daughter Diane Ledford, his grandchildren Chace, Rylie, Jay, Rhiannon, Jessie, Korbin, Makayla, and 13 great grandchildren. He was preceded by his son Billy Joe Evans Jr. and his grandson Kristian.
