Keep Lake Beautiful, the community-driven program dedicated to keeping Lake County beautiful, will host its 10th-anniversary celebration on April 26 at the Discovery Gardens (1951 Woodlea Road, Tavares). The event will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.

This event will feature speakers who have played pivotal roles in the start and success of Keep Lake Beautiful over the past decade. It will highlight significant milestones, including the number of clean-up events, the amount of waste removed, and impactful success stories, while providing attendees with the opportunity to learn about upcoming events.

“We are incredibly proud of what we’ve accomplished over the past 10 years,” said Hillarie Burgess, Keep Lake Beautiful’s facilitator. “This celebration is about reflecting on our successes and bringing together the community that has supported us every step. We look forward to sharing our journey and looking ahead to many more years of positive change.”

This event is open to the public, and residents are encouraged to join in celebrating this important milestone. Following the speeches, guests will enjoy refreshments and have the opportunity to connect with volunteers, supporters, and community members.
