A pair of Lake County women was arrested on drug charges after they both admitted to having narcotics hidden in their bras.
An officer observed the occupants of a black Chrysler 200, later identified as 44-year-old Cheyenne Lynne Coy of Leesburg and 36-year-old Stephanie Michelle Lydia of Clermont, traveling west on Main Street at 11:10 p.m. Wednesday, according to an arrest report from the Leesburg Police Department.

Upon noticing the patrol vehicle, Coy, the driver, immediately turned off Main Street onto Vine Street in an apparent attempt to evade law enforcement. It seemed to be the case as there was no need to avoid turning left at the traffic light and willingly choose to take the extra turns. This was not a route commonly taken by traffic, the report said.
The officer then saw the vehicle make a left turn from the intersection of Vine onto South 14th Streets without using a turn signal. As the vehicle turned left onto 14th Street, it maneuvered into the far-right lane. It also had two malfunctioning tag lights that did not light up the license plate, the report said.
After seeing these violations, the officer conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle at 7-Eleven, located at 737 S. 14th St. He approached the vehicle and explained the reason for the stop to the occupants. He then completed a traffic stop warning while a K-9 unit arrived on scene to sniff around the vehicle’s exterior, the report said.
The K-9 alerted to the odor of narcotics, and a search of the vehicle began. While officers did so, Coy started to cry and motioned for an officer to come over. She asked to speak with him away from Lydia and was escorted to the back of a patrol vehicle. She next revealed that she had methamphetamine hidden in her bra, the report said.
A female officer was called to the scene to search Coy as a result. The officer subsequently found four clear plastic bags in her bra containing a total of 6.8 grams of fentanyl and 1.6 grams of methamphetamine. Also found in her front right pant pocket was a clear glass pipe with burnt narcotics residue, the report said.
After being read her rights, Coy advised that she had just bought the narcotics from a Leesburg residence. She thought she bought methamphetamine and heroin. She was then told that what she believed was heroin was actually fentanyl, the report said.
Meanwhile, the officers searching the vehicle found a small plastic bag with a purple powdery substance similar to fentanyl. The suspected narcotic was found in a small black hardcover cigar container in the front passenger side door where Lydia had sat. When asked what it was, she initially denied any knowledge of it, the report said.
Lydia later asked to speak with an officer away from Coy. She was taken to the back of a patrol vehicle where she admitted to having methamphetamine and fentanyl hidden in her bra. Indeed, a search of her person revealed two bags with 4.7 grams of fentanyl and 8.8 grams of methamphetamine. The fentanyl in the door weighed 0.8 grams, bringing the total weight to 5.5 grams, the report said.
The officers read Lydia her rights, and she advised that she and Coy bought the narcotics from a Leesburg residence. She bought them knowing they were fentanyl and methamphetamine. She still denied knowledge of the fentanyl found in the door, the report said.
Coy was ultimately arrested on charges of trafficking in fentanyl (more than 4 grams less than 14 grams), possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia (possess or use). She was transported to Lake County Jail and released after posting $28,500 bond.
