The Leesburg Police Department is seeking help from the public in the investigation into a shooting.

Officers responded at about 5 p.m. Saturday to a reported shooting in the area of 2300 block of Sennett Drive. Upon arrival, officers located a victim who had been shot inside a vehicle, as well as a passenger who had also sustained injuries. The victim was in critical condition as a result of the shooting.

Detectives, along with Crime Scene investigators, are actively investigating the incident and following up on leads. Several vehicles have been seized in connection with the case, and there are persons of interest.
