With sorrow we announce the passing of Thomas E. Love, on Thursday, March 27, 2025. Born in Mechanicsburg Ohio, he raised his family in Canton, Ohio then relocated to Leesburg, Florida, where he relaxed, played bridge and looked out at his yard.
Tom leaves behind his beloved wife Mary, of 57 years, daughter Nicole, and son-in-law Tate, in addition to his three siblings Kathy, Chuck (Edie), Jerry (Lori), nieces and nephews. He is joined in heaven with his parents, William and Caroline, and five siblings, Mary Lou, Patty, Danny, Rick, and Steve.
Tom was a life-long learner. After serving in the National Guard (Air Force), he attended college where he met Mary. He was a valued, dedicated and respected educator. Tom taught many levels, junior high to collegiate, for 50 years in Ohio. At the high school level, he introduced a computer class in the 80s and later, offered on-line classes for teachers at small colleges. Tom was a perfect gentleman and great friend. Always positive, he lived a fulfilled life.
A catholic memorial mass will be held on Friday, April 4, 2025, 8:30 a.m. at Saint Paul Catholic Church in Leesburg, Florida.
