Geralyn Spratt, age 83, passed away in Leesburg, Florida on February 22, 2025, before living at Golden Pond Village MH from 2007-2022.
Geri was born in January 1942, to parents Russell Tipton (Jack) and Julia Rae (Judy). She attended Riverside & Fairlawn Elementary, Kinloch Jr High, Miami High (1960), Miami Dade Community College (1974), and Florida International in 1976 where she graduated with a degree in Social Work.
Geri worked as a Judge’s Assistant at The US Immigration Court in Miami, FL where she worked for more than 11 years. Before that, she worked in various secretarial positions. Geri was a faithful daughter, sister, cousin & aunt to 20 nieces & nephews (3 gens) and friends. She enjoyed traveling, especially Disney World, mystery movies, and exploring family history. Her family and friends will always remember her as a kind and thoughtful person.
Geri is survived by her two dedicated sisters, Jacqueline Atwell of The Villages, FL, and Marry Cotto (Ray) of Homestead, FL who deeply cared for her. She is preceded in death by her father, Russell T. Spratt, of Miami, FL; her mother, Julia R. Spratt, of Miami, FL; and her sister, Carolyn A. Cournoyer, of Miami, FL.
