Isaias Benavidez, 76 of Bastrop, Texas, went to be with the Lord on March 12, 2025. Mr. Benavidez was born on December 8, 1948 to Alejandro and Eduarda Benavidez. He was a Christian, God-fearing man who loved his family. He was a very giving, caring, strong-willed, dedicated husband and father. His favorite quote was, “a family that prays together, stays together.”
Mr. Benavidez enjoyed farming, gardening, agriculture, and spending time outdoors. He also liked going to Buc-ee’s and Dunkin Donuts to have coffee. Some called coffee, his “life-line.” He enjoyed listening to Elvis Presley and country music on his favorite radio station, K Country 93.7. Many may know Mr. Benavidez from his many years working at Winn-Dixie, in Bushnell.
Mr. Benavidez is survived by his children; Maria Elizabeth Benavides of Bastrop, Texas, David John Benavides of Hernando, Florida, Lupe Elias Benavides of Bastrop, Texas, Isabella Faith Torres of Ocala, Florida; He is preceded in death by his wife, Guadalupe Benavides, his son: Isaias Benavides Jr.; Daughter: Maria Victoria Benavides;
